Againity offers complete battery systems designed for Nordic climate conditions as a complement to wind and hydropower plants. With battery storage, electricity can be stored when production is high and sold when prices are highest. Additional revenue is generated through participation in ancillary service markets operated by the transmission system operator, creating passive income and increased profitability.

How Againity’s robust battery system works

The battery system includes an intelligent energy management system (EMS) that optimises operation within the power plant. The system has interfaces to connect existing electrical consumers such as buildings and equipment, electricity producers and the power grid.

During normal operation, the energy storage is charged with surplus electricity from generators and/or from the power grid when spot prices are lowest. By reducing peak power demand, known as peak shaving, grid fees are also reduced.

We take security seriously and actively prepare for and comply with the EU NIS 2 directive, which sets the highest binding requirements for cybersecurity.
