Simple integration

Againity’s ORC can easily be connected to heat from a geothermal source. The process diagram below illustrates how the robust system converts heat into electricity.

On the hot side, the ORC is connected to an external heat exchanger that transfers heat from the geothermal fluid to an intermediate hot water loop upstream of the ORC evaporator. On the cold side, the ORC condenser transfers heat either to a local heat demand or to an air cooler or cooling water system.
